The Carolinas Center for Hospice and End of Life Care is the statewide agency for hospices in both North and South Carolina. Donations to the Center help fund programs and services for all affiliated hospices across both states. Proceeds from the Charity Golf Classic, for instance, could represent enough money to provide scholarships to the Center’s three-day clinical conference for hospice care providers, or to place advance care planning material in rural hospitals, or perhaps sponsor an educational forum for employers on care giving and grief. The Carolinas Center is definitely an invaluable resource to its hospice partners as well as to the communities they represent. We are very happy, once again, to have the opportunity to support their efforts though the 2011 Charity Golf Classic! |
